Schools across Northern NSW are officially invited to take part in one of the region’s most exciting and creative events — the 2027 Bangalow Billycart Derby Schools Challenge!
Held as part of the iconic Bangalow Billycart Derby, this challenge gives students the chance to design, build and race their own billycarts down the famous main street of Bangalow in front of thousands of spectators.
This is more than just a race. It’s a fantastic hands-on STEM and design opportunity where students can bring together engineering, creativity, teamwork and problem-solving to build a cart that is fast, safe and spectacular.
